Giselle Sceles, BrokerGiselle was born and raised in Guysborough County. After graduating from high school she attended St.Francis Xavier University in Antigonish and graduated with Honours in Psychology. She then lived in Halifax for six years and acquired extensive customer service and managerial experience in a variety of fields. From Pewter Plant Manager to Proctor & Gamble merchandiser, Giselle has had the opportunity to work with many different people in many different situations. In 2000 Giselle moved back to Antigonish where she developed and ran a Mystery Shopping Business before obtaining her Real Estate license and then her Broker's license. Giselle prides herself on her frank, honest and professional services. During the sometimes stressful process of buying or selling a home Giselle will be sure to make you laugh and ease your worries with her down to earth personality. Carmel Avery-MacDonald, Sales Associate
Carmel was raised in Guysborough and worked part time at their family business while attending Guysborough High School. After high school, she attended St. Francis Xavier University and graduated with a Bachelors Degree. In 1995, Carmel went to work as an Economic Development Officer for the Guysborough County Regional Development Authoity which has given her a strong knowledge of the area through her years working in economic development. Carmel is actively involved in her community and volunteers for many organizations including the Guysborough and Area Board of Trade, Chedabucto Education Center Breakfast Program and a charter member and secretary of the Guysborough Waterfront Development Society .She is also a charter member of the Chedabcuto Folk Society (Stan Rogers International Folk Festival), past president of the Guysborough Come Home Week Society, ex-officio member of the Guysborough County Heritage Association and Commercial Cable Rehibilitation Society. Kerstin Hanke, Sales AssociateKerstin moved to Nova Scotia in 1995. She grew up in the eastern part of Germany under the Communism. After graduating from high school and achieving trades in Farming and Waitressing she reached a big personal goal in buying her first property at the age of 21. After the wall came down in 1989, Kerstin built and managed, together with her first husband, an Auto Body Shop and a Car Dealership. She educated herself in bookkeeping and business management through home studies and evening courses with a diploma. Over the years Kerstin has developed valuable experience working with people. With the age of 40 she changed careers by obtaining her Real Estate License. She finds that being able to speak the German language as well as fluent English is a great bonus in this industry. Kerstin loves her job and is very proud to be a part of the Sceles Realty Team serving Antigonish and Guysborough County. In her spare time Kerstin loves to curl, golf, read and spend time at home with her partner Daniel Hart and her family.
